Eldet Tine - Pastor & Director of Haiti Operations

Open Door specifically partners with Eldet as an emerging leader at Haiti Bible Mission.

​Since joining Haiti Bible Mission over five years ago, Eldet has worked hard to advance in the mission and serve in his community. Before taking his current position, Eldet served as our Haitian Ministries Director and learned so much during that time.

During that time, he also got married to his new wife, Roselaure. While serving in that capacity, he continually felt God's call on his life to be a pastor. After he received the pastoral training necessary, and served as associate pastor of the Mission's church plant in the inner city of downtown Jeremie, called the Pointe. 

​After some time and planning, Eldet became senior pastor at the Mission's latest church plant in the St. Helene area of Jeremie. At the opening weekend of the church in April of 2015, twenty-three people committed and or recommitted their lives to Christ. Since that time, Eldet has worked hard to foster good relationships in St. Helene and within his church body there. He also had the joy of welcoming he and Roselaure's first baby, Esther, into the world in August of 2015.

Eldet works hard at several self-started businesses as well as pastoring the church in St. Helene and guiding other emerging leaders within HBM. Please pray for this man of God by giving him peace in every part of his life from his marriage, to his pastoral duties, to his businesses. Pray that he will have continued wisdom as his family grows and his church continues to thrive in an area of town that does not often see the joy that someone like Eldet exudes.
