Why Give to Open Door Church?
None of the work we do at our church would be possible without God moving the hearts of our people to give. As people of God we give because God has given so much to us. We give to make a Kingdom impact locally in Columbia, across the country, as well as globally through mission efforts. We give to increase the Kingdom through our generosity so that others may know Jesus better!

Give, view the church directory, browse the latest sermons, sign-up for events, submit prayer requests, contact us and more all with the convenience of your phone.
Text to Give Instructions
- Text the word GIVE to 573-245-8889.
- If it’s your first time, complete a one-time registration. Click SIGN IN then click REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT at the bottom of the page. Complete contact info then click REGISTER.
- Enter the secure PIN that the system texts you.
- Select the fund, enter the donation amount and payment info.
- Click SAVE PAYMENT to keep your payment info securely saved for future gifts.
- Once registered, simply text the desired amount and tithe to 573-245-8889. Ex: 250 tithe for $250.00 to the General Fund.
- EDIT - Make changes to your giving account, contact info and/or payment info.
- REFUND - Refund your last gift. Text “REFUND” within 15 minutes to refund the gift.
- KEYWORD - See a list of active keywords. Current keywords: tithe (General Fund) & HBM (Haiti Bible Mission).
Give to CarePortal
CarePortal is a technology platform and app that connects vetted child welfare professionals with local churches and community members to meet the tangible needs of vulnerable children and families in crisis. The goal is to stabilize families and prevent children from entering the foster system.
The church's CarePortal Fund is a fund contained within the CarePortal platform. General Fund money is budgeted every fiscal year in line 5211 - Care Portal. That money is then transferred to the CarePortal platform and held in an account for use by the Pastoral Team and Outreach Team working in conjunction.
Donors can give directly to the CarePortal Fund through the CarePortal website. CarePortal will send end-of-year tax documents to each donor. At this time, the church will not receive CarePortal donations.
