OUR MINISTRY TEAMS
The primary way we carry out ministry is through Ministry Teams. The purpose of our Ministry Teams is to assist the Pastoral Team with carrying out the mission and the vision of the Church.
Open Door has many ministries available for you to be involved in. From helping in the children's ministry to greeting newcomers as they arrive at the front doors, serving at Open Door Church is a great way to help make this church your home and deepen your relationship with Christ.
Fellowship Team
Purpose: To plan and facilitate opportunities for our church family to grow existing relationships and create new connections.
Men's Ministry
Purpose: To provide an environment and opportunities where men pursue healthy relationships, spiritual growth, and real discipleship.
Missions Team
Purpose: To maintain our church’s existing connection with missionaries abroad, champion a missional focus throughout our church, as well as find and promote missional opportunities for our members.
Open Door Kids
Purpose: To provide an environment for the younger children of the church’s membership and visitors to grow in their knowledge of God, His Gospel, and His Word through the planning and teaching of God-honoring curriculum and activities.
Open Door Youth
Purpose: To provide an environment for the youth of the church’s membership and visitors to grow in their knowledge of God, His Gospel, and His Word through the planning and teaching of God-honoring curriculum and activities.
Outreach Team
Purpose: To plan and facilitate opportunities for our church family to engage our neighbors with the Gospel through evangelism and acts of service.
Welcome Team
Purpose: To ensure that members and visitors are welcomed when they enter the church and that newer guests are given directions or information to connect with other members within the church.
Women's Ministry
Purpose: To provide an environment and opportunities where women pursue healthy relationships, spiritual growth, and real discipleship.
Worship Team
Purpose: To lead the church’s membership and visitors into a right worship of God through the planning and performing of music, scripture reading, and testimony.
